A man was driving through the country one day and when his car broke down, he was in front of a farm house while
waiting on his car to be fixed he thought he would make some small talk with the local farm, who he saw sitting on his porch.
“Hey how’s the wheat growing?” The farmer, without any cahnge of expression, said, I didn’t plant any wheat this year. “I was afraid there would be a drought.a’ “Well,” asked the man, “then how’s the corn growing?” “Didn’t plant any corn either. Afraid there would be to much rain and would wash the seed away”. “Well, then, how’s the cotton growing?” the man asked. ” I didn’t plant any cotton this year. Afraid the boll weevil would come and eat it all up.” The somewhat perplexed, finally asked, “What did you plant?” The farmer leaned back and said, “I didn’t plant nothin’ this year. I just palyed it safe.”
“No investment” is nearly as bad as “foolish investment” We’ve been playing it safe far too long. We have been dreamers to some extent. We’ve even been a little lazy. Many of us have learned to confess prosperity Scriptures everyday but don’t actually have a passion to do anything more than just talk. We have to eventually do something. I cannot overemphasize the important of learning waht you are doing before you do it but without passion to act on your knowledge, it is useless. Do something, even if all you are doing is reading some book for your overall succss.

Overcoming the Past
Paul said it this way:
Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do,
forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those
things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call
of God in Christ Jesus. (Phil. 3:13-14)

In other words, to achieve real success, you have to leave behind abuse, unfair treatment
you have endured, the insecurity and fear. You must move on. Faith doesn’t work in the past.
You can’t change the past. You can’t even change the present. But you can change the future.
However, you have to leave the past behind to get there. The biggest hindrance to wealth is our past.
